Orthopedic/Manual Physiotherapy

Neck or back pain? Muscle, bone or joint pain? Sports related injuries? We have experienced orthopedic/manual physiotherapists!

Although NeuroLogic Physiotherapy was founded on neurological rehabilitation, our clinic has since expanded to include many highly skilled and experienced orthopedic/manual physiotherapists. Orthopedic physiotherapists are often considered a "general" physiotherapist as they concentrate on treating joint, muscle, bone, and injury pain. However, our orthopedic/manual physiotherapists offer much more.

Our orthopedic/manual physiotherapists will assess and treat you on a one-to-one basis. You will be treated by a highly skilled physiotherapist who will give you their undivided attention for the full appointment time!  Our clinic operates on the premise that the area of pain and restriction should not be assessed and treated in isolation from the rest of the body. Our physiotherapists assess the patient by looking at the whole body and all of the interconnected systems. The therapist will not only treat the area of pain and restriction, but the whole part of the body that is affected, and possibly the origin, of these issues. We use hands-on techniques, such as Myofascial Release and joint mobilization, to determine the underlying cause of a patient's pain. Treatment focuses on hands-on work and only uses modalities, such as ultrasound, when needed. This type of treatment is designed to alleviate your symptoms and return you to pain-free, functional living. Our orthopedic therapists also work in close conjunction with the neuro-therapists giving a combined approach to speed up rehabilitation.
